Wireless Laser Desktop 400

micrsft11022Just when you thought to yourself, self — keyboards just aren’t complicated enough these days, are they? And then you may have responded, no, they aren’t — if only Microsoft would take a traditional ergonomic keyboard design, throw in a million shortcut buttons and make it look like it’s kind of from the future. Wouldn’t that be neat? And it would. And it is. And it’s the Wireless Laser Desktop 4000 and it even comes with a mouse.

More buttons than you can shake a wireless fist at.

The Wireless Laser Desktop 4000 not only sounds like a robot, it sort of looks like a robot was implanted inside of it. Besides being extremely ergonomic and wireless, the keyboard has a huge amount of hotkeys. Among them — zoom, favorites, Windows Gadget (providing one touch access to information such as weather, news, stock quotes, and more) Windows LiveCall (which provides access to start an instant messaging session or a video call) and a massage button that summons gorgeous women (or men) to massage your feet. Microsoft has really outdone themselves.

The kit also comes with a Wireless Laser Mouse 5000 (now with laser beams!) and, specific keys that work with Windows Vista. Now if only they could get Windows Vista to work.

You’re probably thinking this is going to cost you a pretty penny — but surprisingly, it’s not that expensive. At $79.95 — you’re getting a pretty hip, comfortable keyboard and a sexy little wireless mouse. We approve, Microsoft — and we approve of you very little, so be very, very proud of yourselves.

Microsoft seems to have hidden the gadget — but we found it on this website, so — get it, love it, and type your way into ecstatic bliss.
