Sony has announced that it’ll be launching the "Satin Silver" model of the PS3 in Japan — thereby boosting its sales to seven consoles, instead of the previous five sold this year.
The Satin Silver PS3 will go on sale on March 6th for 39,800 yen, or £190, or ten thousand dollars, because, quote, "Sony has to make a profit somehow."

If you call Second Life a game to someone who uses it, they would stare at you creepily and mutter, "It’s not a game — it’s a way of life." Well, that’s slowly — and creepily — becoming true. Over a year ago, Microsoft released it’s Xbox 360 and the people rejoiced. The controller is sleek and comfortable, the design is delicious, Sci-Fi goodness, and the games looked better than real life.

"Problems with the Xbox 360? What problems?" This was the gist of Microsoft’s response to a reprimand issued by Britain’s consumer affairs show Watchdog, accusing the company of making faulty Xbox 360 consoles. Microsoft retorted and expressed mild, corporately-controlled outrage at the accusations, which, unfortunately, happen to be true.

With the pending release of Sony’s Playstation 3, Logitech has already released an accessory for the system that is guaranteed to blow minds and cool fingers. It isn’t easy playing ten hours of video games a day — it’s even harder when your palms start getting sweaty and in a fury of alien-shooting the controller slips out of your hands and kills a family member. Thankfully, Logitech is here to help with a gadget that, while seemingly silly, is going to sell like the delicious hotcake that it is.
