Microsoft shells out a billion to repair Xbox 360
July 6, 2007
Over a year ago, Microsoft released it’s Xbox 360 and the people rejoiced. The controller is sleek and comfortable, the design is delicious, Sci-Fi goodness, and the games looked better than real life.
The problem, of course, was that the Xbox didn’t really work. At least, not for a very long time. Between a fan that sounds like a seizuring tractor and inner workings that heat up to degrees hotter than all the fires of hell — the Xbox 360 had some problems.
And now, Microsoft is spending 1 billion dollars fixing them.
