The Creative Zen Vision Mp3 player is not only a capable digital audio player, video player, photo viewer and so on -- it also has its own design and doesn't look like an iPod, which, in itself, makes it worth the buy.

The Mp3 player is exactly the same size as an iPod (4.1 x 2.4 inches) but slightly thicker and heavier (it's got a bit more meat on its bones).

The 30 GB multimedia device can hold up to 120 hours of video, 15,000 songs, and thousands of photos, while the 2.5-inch high definition LCD screen features a 320 x 240 resolution. The gadget supports a slew of formats -- AVI, DivX 4 and 5, XviD4, MPEG-1, -2, -SP, WMV9 and Motion-JPEG, and even has an integrated FM radio and recorder (iPod, please, please do this already.)

Is it better than the iPod? That's debatable. The market right now is geared for the behemoth that is Apple's shimmering white Mp3 player, meaning that, for nearly the same cost, you can not only get an iPod that does the same thing (and is smaller and slicker) you will also have a slew of accessories readily available. Still, if you want to be apart from the pack -- the Vision is a great alternative, but it won't blow your mind.
