The Seagate FreeAgent Desktop is a dream drive for the film editor, music editor or anyone else who thinks they can fill a 500 GB hard drive.
With a tiny footprint that makes it a breeze to squeeze unto your desk, the pretty drive transfers files quickly via USB 2.0 and is a huge help when it comes to backing up your main hard drive, storing movies and programs, or, holding the next Oscar winner. One of the features of the drive also allows you to password-protect access to various items, allowing you to give personal permission to specific people without compromising whatever secrets may be on your drive.
Useful, dependent, light and pretty, the FreeAgent Desktop drive is also very fairly priced. In fact, as owns over a $350 500 gigabyte hard drive, we’re a little bitter at how cheap this one is.
Things That Make It Special
- Vast capacity with a footprint no bigger than a stapler
- Transfer files quickly with USB 2.0
- Backup CDs, DVDs or store files and programs for on-the-go
- Drive can be password protected
- 500 glorious gigabytes of storage
- Guaranteed to win you an Emmy, at least.
