The Sharp Aquos LC52D64U LCD HDTV is a powerful TV. It’s affordable, it’s aesthetically sexy and visually stunning — if we had any more adjectives in our vast vocabulary, we’d go on, but simply put, the LC52D64U is one of the best LCD screens out there for this price.
Are you sold yet?
The 52″ screen has a 10,000:1 contrast ratio, 4ms response time, a high-gloss black finish (which is the case with almost any Sharp Aquos screen), a built-in digital (ATSC) and analog (NTSC) tuner for over-the-air TV broadcasts, and a built-in QAM cable TV tuner that receives unscrambled programs without a set-top box — though, cable service is required.
The screen is also a full 1080p HD resolution, which is the highest HD you can get, which means that you’ll see the sweat on Tom Cruise’s brow as he leaps from mountain to mountain, or the pores on Eddie Murphy’s face as he leaps from one awful movie to the other. It’s really a beautiful sight.
A great investment that will definitely pay dividends, you’ll never want to leave your house with the LC52D64U. Sure. your family will probably never speak to you again and your friends will all desert you, but, oh, it’s still so worth it.
Things That Make It Special:
- Full HD 1080p resolution
- 10,000:1 Dynamic Contrast Ratio
- 4ms Response Time
- RS-232C Input for control
- Who needs family, friends or love when you have the LC52D64U?
