The Sony Cybershot DSC-T200 looks faintly like something a deadly samurai would use to take pictures of his kill. It’s a sleek little bugger, a beautifully-shaped camera that, much like a samurai, packs a pretty powerful punch.
The 8.1-megapixel camera comes with a 5x optical zoom, uses a Carl Zeiss lens, and has a pretty 3.5-inch widescreen, touch-panel Clear Photo LCD Plus — that’s, quite honestly, one of the best screens we’ve seen on a camera of this type.
The cam includes a slew of other technology, among which is Face Detection (that allows you to detect and optimize up to 8, beautiful faces) and In-camera retouching — that immediately lets you fix your friends ugly, ugly face.
With 31MB of built-in memory, you’ll absolutely have to buy a memory stick as none are included. But if you’re looking for a point-and-click camera with some punch, this guy’s it. At $400, it’s simply gorgeous and potent as all bloody hell.
