Quirkier than quirk itself, the Sony Ericsson W600i Phone is not only unique aesthetically, it’s also uniquely useful. With features that include almost anything you could think of, want, and even not want — the W600i phone is a delicious little package.

With 256 MB of internal memory, Bluetooth, an FM radio, an advanced digital music player and a 1.8″ color screen, the phone is like a little computer in your pocket — a little computer that can call people, even.

One of the hipper features in the phone is its control pad. Most of the phone’s functions can be controlled using the five-way pad below the display, while a few extra buttons above the screen provide a kind of controller that allows users to play games in landscape-mode. The phone’s large 176 x 220 display supports a huge 262,000 colors — meaning not only cooler menues, but actual games that don’t look like snake.

A shiny, useful little phone — the only downfall is its price. There’s a lot of things a person can be with $399.99 — and a cellphone is usually not one of those. Still, if you have the money to spare and are looking for a hip, high-end phone — this guy’s your guy. Or phone.

  • 1.8” color screen for best possible video viewing and gaming experience
  • FM radio and advanced digital music player
  • 1.3 megapixel camera with video recording and digital camera menus
  • Dedicated gaming buttons for fast and action-packed 3D gaming on the go
  • Stereo headset, USB cable and Applications Suite supplied
  • Just… so… pretty.
