For a very low price, the Sony MDR-EX71SL/WK Fontopia headphones are extremely good at what they do. And what they do is play music.

Designed to, “fit any Mp3 player” but obviously geared for the iPod with its sleek, white design, the headphones are especially good at doing two things.

These two things are — blocking sound, and being extremely comfortable. Really. It’s like having a pillow in your ear. The reason for this is the super light silicon ear buds. They even come in three different sizes to fit every ear — if that’s not quality, we don’t know what is.

The headphones also come with a carrying case, a 1-meter extension cord, and an earbud holder. So, no more headphones being crushed by objects in your bag — these are well protected. The quality of sound, too, is surprisingly high for the $30 dollar price tag, too. Of course, the sound-cancellation or quality isn’t as good as high quality over-the-ear headphones would offer, but it’s definitely one of the best models of in-the-ear headphones you can get.

The only complaint for the Sony MDR-EX71SL/WK is that they don’t stay in very well in certain types of ears. The complaint is uttered rarely, but is uttered nonetheless. So, if you’re a person who has irregular ears, try them out in the store if you can. But, really, it’s nothing to worry about.

For a price this low, and quality this high, these headphones are a great accessory for any Mp3 or CD player.
