While the LG 42LC7D 720p LCD HDTV doesn’t play the highest quality high-definition it can, it’s still a great TV for a very, very affordable price.
The HDTV comes with a built-in ATSC/NTSC/QAM tuner that allows users to receive over-the-air digital broadcast signals and unscrambled digital cable — in human terms, this means that if a channel is broadcasting in HD, you’ll be able to see the bacteria living in every pore of every actor who has a close-up.
Aside from that, the TV also has various features, such as a 178 degree viewing angle, Super IPS Technology, which reduces distortion and blurring during fast-moving scenes (like car chases or gazelles) and LG’s exclusive XD engine, which uses six individual processes to pump up the quality, contrast, brightness and general sexiness of your image.
For the price, this TV is definitely a winner.

LG’s KF750 Touchscreen Phone Slides and Looks Sexy
It’s not news that LG is releasing a new line of sexy cell phones (yes, they’re all going to try to be ’iPhone killers’ — and no, probably none of them will succeed) called the KF line. While we’ll have to wait for next week’s CeBIT show to really get all the details, we have wrangled some for the KF750 — codenamed, “Libra.”
This is a good first step — as we fully support and celebrate Libras.

It’s so pretty you just want to peel it. The LG enV (get it?) Orange Phone looks like something Nickelodeon made while heavily-medicated — and yet, it’s still a damn good phone.
The uniquely-colored enV features a hidden QWERTY keypad, Bluetooth, a 2.0 megapixel camera, a miniSD memory card slot, a fairly advanced MP3 player and stereo speakers.

We’ve all heard of the chocolate phone — and we’ve all made the same joke about it — “Is it edible?”
We’ve all laughed heartily at our witticism, and some of us have even implied a creamy caramel center might be hidden deep within its body — most of this isn’t true (except the caramel center.) What is true, however, is that the LG VX8500 Chocolate Phone is a delicious alternative to any cell phone on the market — this is true for two reasons, one — it’s ridiculously slick looking, looking something like the beautiful grandson of an iPod and Angelina Jolie.

LG Makes HDTV Even More HDTVier
LG Electronics has unveiled a 37-inch and 42-inch full HDTV liquid crystal display today, and, in apparent competition with themselves, immediately introduced two larger versions of the same TV at 47 and 55 inches. Large and impressive the two-megapixel HD panels will offer images that are two times clearer than regular HDTV’s and six times greater than SDTV– making the whole HD-watching experience so crisp that your eyes will literally burn out of their sockets — which, really, in the long run, is pretty worth it.
