Viewsonic VX1945wm - Ipod Dock and Monitor

Viewsonic has just announced a major upgrade to its monitors by adding an iPod docking station and a number of additional goodies to its 19″ (VX1945wm) and 22″ (VX2245WM) desktop monitors.

The highlight of this upgrade is the iPod Dock, in our opinion something we’ve not seen in any other monitors todate.

The dock allows users to download music and video to the iPod from their computers and allows you to listen to music stored on the iPod while you’re working away on your computer.

Also included are an 8-in-1 card reader which supports a wide range of add-in card formats, 4 USB type A ports and 1 USB type 1 port and a headphone jack.

This DVI monitor is backwards compatible with older desktops and laptops with its VGA port.
